We are pleased to debut the new logo and website for Direct LTx. In November 2005, Directlink Technologies was formed with Albert Boscov’s purchase of the former Met-Ed regional headquarters and data center complex in Bern Township, PA. Now, for our 15th anniversary, we have rebranded ourselves to better reflect the business we have become.

At our inception, Directlink Technologies was focused on developing a world-class colocation data center. We took the fortress-like, subterranean Met-Ed data centers and spent tens of millions of dollars upgrading the power and cooling infrastructure to provide the resiliency and security our customers demanded. As we grew, we attracted telecom companies, 12 of which are built into the data center, as well as a variety of cloud onramps and private fiber networks.

With the addition of these network connections, the type of services and solutions Directlink Technologies could provide expanded exponentially to include cloud, backup, private fiber networks, SDWAN, and business continuity/disaster recovery services.

We have always been ideally situated for disaster recovery and backup solutions, but we have found that our location, an easy one to two hour drive from major Mid-Atlantic business centers, has made us attractive to new types of customers, including those focused on “edge” solutions, such as 5G, content distribution networks, autonomous vehicles, virtual reality, and internet-of-things.

Direct LTx still provides our customers with the most secure, resilient, and reliable colocation data center services available. We still have dedicated and on-demand office space and other physical infrastructure to support our customers’ disaster recovery operations.  But we also can serve as a hub for your IT operations, providing custom network connectivity options, hybrid and cloud backup and disaster recovery services, cloud service on-ramps, and cybersecurity solutions.
